Welcome to the Getting Started with Crowdpurr Polls tutorial. This tutorial will quickly walk you through every step you need to learn how to create, edit, run, and reset a Crowdpurr Poll for your audience.
Creating Your First Poll
To create a new Poll, simply click on the + Create Experience link from the left-hand navigation column or click on the red Get Started button if you don't have any Experiences created just yet. This will open the Create New Experience page, which lists all of the Experience Types that are available to you on Crowdpurr. |
You're allowed to create as many Experiences as your plan allows as your plan's Experience Limit refers to the number of simultaneous Experiences you can create and run at the same time. The free Basic Plan allows you to create up to 3 Experiences for free.
What's the difference between a Poll and a Trivia Game? Polls have questions that do not have a correct answer. It simply asks an opinion-based question and you can view the results of that question.
However, a Trivia question will have a correct answer that your crowd tries to guess to earn points. Players are then ranked by how many points they earn.
Don't worry, if you accidentally created a Poll instead of a Trivia game, or vice-versa, simply click on My Experiences and remove the Poll Experience and create a new Trivia Game instead.
Selecting a Poll Type to Create
Now, click on the blue Create button in the green Multiple-Choice Poll box under the Polls section. This will get you started on creating your new Multiple-Choice Poll by opening the Setup Wizard which will guide you through setting up your new Poll.
Can I change my poll type later? Each type of Poll shown under the Create Experience list is just a shortcut to quickly set up that type of Poll. You can always reconfigure a Poll's type after creating it so you do not need to start over. A Poll is later configurable under the green Settings settings tab on the Experience Dashboard.

After clicking Create, you will be taken to the Experience Wizard which will walk you through some initial settings for your Poll such as how many questions you want, the types of questions, and the Experience Playback Mode.
