Downgrade or Cancel an Upgraded Plan

Learn how to downgrade and/or cancel your upgraded Crowdpurr plan.

If your current upgraded plan is set to Automatically Renew, you must downgrade your plan to stop Crowdpurr's recurring monthly/yearly subscription charge.

If your current upgraded plan is not set to Automatically Renew, is it thus "downgraded" and your account will automatically downgrade at the end of the current billing cycle.

Access for Remainder of Billing Cycle

Upon downgrading, you will not be charged again. However, you will still retain access to your upgraded plan and its features for the remainder of the current billing cycle.

Monthly Plan Example

If you upgraded to the Monthly Classroom Plan on February 1st and downgrade two months later on April 20th, you'll have been charged three times for the Monthly Classroom Plan. Upon downgrading, you'll retain access to the Classroom Plan until May 1st. Which is the remainder of the monthly billing cycle.

Yearly Plan Example

If you upgraded to the Yearly Classroom Plan on February 1st, 2025 and downgrade nine months later on November 14th, you'll have been charged once for the Yearly Classroom Plan. Upon downgrading, you'll retain access to the Classroom Plan until February 1st, 2026. Which is the remainder of the yearly billing cycle.

No Prorated Refunds. Crowdpurr does not offer prorated refunds on unused portions of upgraded plans except when upgrading to a higher level plan.

Downgrading Your Plan

To downgrade your plan, complete the following steps.

  1. Click on Plans in the left navigation column

  2. Click on the Downgrade Plan button under the blue free Basic Plan. You can also click Edit Current Plan under your current upgraded and disable the Automatically Renew switch.

Upon downgrading, you'll be asked to complete a short survey. This survey helps improve Crowdpurr and better understand how our customers use Crowdpurr and why they happen to be downgrading.

What happens to my data after downgrading? All of your experiences, participants, and results are safely and securely stored in our cloud for when you return to use Crowdpurr in the future. Crowdpurr will never remove your data unless you delete your account. You're free to return and re-upgrade at any time.
