When all of your questions have been voted on or you'd just like to end your Poll, you can Finish and finalize it. This will stop all voting and update all connected crowd Particpiant Views and the Presentation View with a message indicating, "The poll has ended. Thank you for participating."
Finishing your Poll is useful when you no longer want your crowd to use the Poll and you want them to focus their attention back on your presentation, another topic, etc.
When you want to clear out any test votes and reset your Poll for your actual live event, you must first Finish your Poll. Once you finish a Poll, you'll have the option to reset it, which we'll do in this tutorial.
Finishing Your Poll
To finish your Poll, simply click the smaller red Stop button under the Playback Controls heading on the Experience Dashboard. This will stop all interaction from your crowd.

Experiences never run out! Feel free to start, pause, stop, restart, or reset your Experiences as many times as you want since Experiences never "run out." You have 30 days of access under all Premium Plans to design and test your Experiences. Your Experience Limit refers to how many unique Experiences you can create and have on your account at the same time.
Your Poll is now Finished and your crowd can no longer answer questions. All Participant Views will now show a Voting Finished screen as displayed below:

Resetting Your Poll
Now that your Poll is finished, to run it again, either as another "dry run" for testing purposes or for your actual live event, you'll need to reset it to clear out all the test players and votes. Resetting will set your Poll back to the Ready To Start state. This will update all crowd Participant Views and the Presentation View will display, "The Poll will begin shortly."
To reset your Poll, click on the circular blue Reset button under the Playback Controls heading on the Experience Dashboard.
The Reset Experience icon under Playback Control
This will open the Reset Poll... dialog where you'll have two button options:

Clear Crowd Responses
Click the red Clear Crowd Responses button if you want to clear out all the current crowd responses. If you want to reset your Poll to a clean state so it can be run again as a "fresh" Poll, click on this option. It will also set your Poll's state to Ready To Start. This is the most common type of reset.
Clearing crowd responses is permanent! Before you select Clear Crowd Responses make sure you don't need this data. If you were just testing your Poll, then selecting Clear Crowd Responses is fine. But if you ran an actual live event Poll and need your Crowd Responses (e.g. vote data, voter information, etc.) make sure you first export this information as a CSV file spreadsheet before resetting your Poll by selecting Clear Crowd Responses.
To learn more about exporting Poll data, check out Exporting Poll Results & Data to a Spreadsheet.
Remove Participant Accounts
Along with clearing out the Crowd Responses, you can also enable the Remove Participant Accounts setting. When this option is toggled On, selecting the Clear Crowd Responses option will also remove the participant accounts tied to the Experience. Participants will be required to sign in again and create a new participant account.
Optional Remove Participant Accounts setting
Please note, enabling the Remove Participant Accounts setting will also remove any data that the current Experience's list of participants has submitted for any of your Crowdpurr Experiences.
Keep Crowd Responses
Click the Keep Crowd Responses button if you want to reset the Poll's state back to Ready To Start but want to keep the existing Poll results and crowd responses. There are some cases where this is useful, for example, when you want to re-run your Poll for new voters in your crowd and have them add to the existing Poll data and results.
After clicking on one of the above buttons, your Poll is now reset. To start it again you'll need to click the green Play button.
Does resetting remove my questions and answers? No, resetting your Poll only removes your existing Crowd Responses such as votes and voter records (if you choose the Clear Crowd Responses option), and sets your Poll's status back to Ready To Start. Your written questions and answers all remain so your Poll can be played again.
