Your Social Wall's Header Message is simply an instruction, phrase, or question your crowd will read when posting and viewing your Social Wall.

The following are examples of good Header Messages:

  • Post Your Favorite Activity At The Conference

  • Post A Photo Of You & Your Friends at Our Christmas Party!

  • Share Your Thoughts On Today's Session!

  • Best Photo Contest - Winner Gets $100!

When creating a Social Wall, the Experience Wizard will ask you to set a Header Message. If you skipped this step or want to change your Header Message, it's easy to update it on the Experience Dashboard.

Edit Your Header Message

Let's pretend we're creating a Social Wall for a large annual conference about cats! Let's edit our Header Message to say, Post Your Best Photo From The Cat Expo! Feel free to create a Header Message that applies to your use case.

On the Experience Dashboard of your Social Wall, scroll down to the blue tab that says Social Wall. Simply click on the existing Header Message text box or click the green Edit button with a pencil icon to the right of the Header Message text. This sets the Header Message to Edit Mode, which allows you to update it. Type in the new text and click the green Save (checkmark) button to save the updated Header Message.

Your Header Message is now updated and will instantly update on any open Social Wall Presentation Views and on any crowd Participant Views that your crowd is using to post to your Social Wall using Crowdpurr directly. You can also change the background color of your Social Wall Posts from this edit panel.
