Crowdpurr allows Convention Plan subscribers to upload various types of advertisements for embedded display within their Experiences.
Custom Ad Purposes
Embedded ads are an excellent way to promote event sponsors, brand partners, your in-house promotions, and/or any type of promotion. If you have a sizable crowd, you can even resell this valuable real estate to generate revenue for your event, establishment, etc.
A few examples:
Display a logo banner of all your event's sponsors
Display a logo/message of your session's sponsor at a conference
Display promotions for drink or food specials at your restaurant
Display product ads for products, services, or companies sponsoring your event
Crowdpurr custom ads can be images, text, and even animated GIFs.
Popup Ad Format
The second ad type Crowdpurr offers is the Popup Ad format. This ad displays each time a participant votes, answers a question, marks a Bingo Square, or posts a message to a Social Wall. The ad pops up during the sending process alongside any status messages on the participant's response. Your participants will surely notice this ad format. Popup ads are image-based and can be a JPG or animated GIF.
The ad size for this format is 375px x 250px (ads can be taller than 250px).
Uploading Ads
To upload a Popup Ad, go to the green Settings tab on the Experience Dashboard and locate the Custom Branding section. Next, locate the Custom Popup Ads box at the bottom of the page.
Once you've located the Custom Popup Ads box, locate the Upload Image button with a camera icon.

Choosing and Cropping an Uploaded Lower Banner Ad
Either drag an image or click within the upload area to choose an image from your computer. Uploaded images should ideally be a rectangle 375 x 250 JPEG, PNG, WEBP or GIF file less than 5MB. However, Popup Ads can be taller than 250 px. GIFs may also be animated to upload a Popup Ad with eye-catching content to display throughout your Experience.
After uploading, you may choose to crop the image. These images will be shown in a 1:1.5 rectangular aspect ratio. So the more rectangular your image is and/or the more rectangular you crop it, the more it will display accurately on every player's Participant View. Click on the green check-mark button to save and upload your question image after optionally cropping it.

Your image will also be shown on every participant's mobile device on the Participant View of your Crowdpurr Experience after they submit a response or post.

Removing a Popup Ad
If you wish to adjust, change, or no longer use an uploaded Popup Ad, simply remove it on the Experience Dashboard by clicking on the red Remove button with a trash icon next to the uploaded image in the Custom Popup Ad area.

Once you've clicked on the Remove button, a red dialogue will display to confirm if you'd like to proceed with the removal. Simply click the red Remove button to confirm you'd like to remove the uploaded Popup Ad.
