The Playback & Timing tab under the green Settings tab contains settings on timing and which Experience Playback Mode your Bingo Game uses. You can use these settings to specify how your Bingo Game's playback will function depending on the type of event you are running (e.g. a live event, a trade show booth, an online bingo game, etc.)
Bingo Game's Playback & Timing section on the Experience Dashboard
Countdown Timer
This setting allows you to set a duration that your Bingo Game will count down before actually starting. This is useful if you want to indicate to your participants when your Bingo Game will actually start in case they join ahead of time. Participants will see a timer counting down on both the overall Presentation View and their own Participant View on their mobile devices. Your Bingo Game will automatically start when the timer finishes counting down.
By default, the Countdown Timer is Enabled and is set to a duration of 10 seconds. To edit the duration of the Countdown Timer, simply use the drop-down boxes to select how many minutes and seconds you want for your timer and click the green Save button next to them. When set, the green box will show how long the Countdown Timer is set for.
Editing the Poll's Countdown Timer to 20 seconds
When the Countdown Timer is enabled, the green Play button under Playback Controls will be replaced with a blue Start Countdown (clock) button. When you click it, both the Participant View and the Presentation View will display the Countdown Timer and it will begin counting down. Your game will start when it reaches zero, or you can click the Start button to skip the remaining time on the Countdown Timer and immediately start your Bingo Game.
To disable the Countdown Timer, set the time to zero. Your Bingo Game will start immediately upon pressing the green Start button above.
No Countdown Timer enabled
Auto-Start When Countdown Ends
With the Auto-Start When Countdown Ends feature, you can set whether you want your Poll to automatically start or not once the Countdown Timer ends. By default, this setting is enabled and will automatically start the Poll once the Countdown Timer ends.
Disabling the Auto-Start When Countdown Ends is useful if you have a long Countdown Timer for an upcoming event (e.g. several hours or more) but you would like to display or present other content before actually starting the Experience once the Countdown Timer ends.
Schedule Start Time
The Schedule Start Time section allows you to schedule your Bingo Game to start automatically at a specified point in the future. This is highly useful when you want to begin a Bingo Game at a future date and time without having to log back into Crowdpurr to manually start it.

Schedule End Time

Bingo Square Call Time
The Bingo Square Call Time allows you to set the amount of time between called bingo squares when using Fully Automatic Mode.
Bingo Square Call Timer section
By default, the Bingo Square Call Time is set to 7 seconds; however, you can choose durations beginning from 3 seconds up to 60 minutes and 60 seconds.
Experience Playback Mode
This setting allows you to set what playback mode your Bingo Game uses. There are several Experience Playback Modes that are suited for various types of event formats. By default, Bingo Games are set to run under the Host Controlled Mode.
Experience Playback Mode section
Host Controlled Mode
In this mode, your Bingo Game is entirely controlled manually by the host (you). The host is responsible for calling squares, triggering different views to participants (e.g. Rankings Leaderboard and Question Notes), and progressing the Bingo Game along.
Nothing will occur in the Bingo Game if no action has been triggered by the host. Because of this, Host Controlled Mode is great when you want to have your crowd mark off squares on their Bingo Card, then go to some different content or a different speaker, then return the same Bingo Game for completion.
Your crowd will participate in sync on the same called square. This mode is designed for large groups of participants interacting together and having a host that needs to narrate or otherwise speak to the content being shown. This mode is best used for presentations made to live audiences, live virtual Bingo Games, and Bingo Games where a host or narrator is hosting the game.
What's a best practice tip for running a live bingo game with a host? Often times when using a live host or narrator, it is best to have someone else actually controlling/running the game on the Experience Dashboard using a laptop computer or tablet.
This lets the host discuss each square and when the host is ready, the person controlling the game on the Experience Dashboard can work from the host's cues for when to call the next square, show the Rankings Leaderboard, show any Game Notes, etc.
Fully Automatic Mode
In this mode, your Bingo Game runs automatically once it is started. It automatically progresses and calls squares until all the squares have been called or the set number of Bingos has been earned. The game will optionally show Game Notes or Rankings Leaderboard after the game ends. In this mode, your crowd is all participating in sync on the same square.
This mode is designed for use cases where the host wants to start the Bingo Game and have it run automatically. When a participant joins the Bingo Game, they will join on whatever the currently called square is.
Winner Reveal Animations
When enabled, the Winner Reveal Animations will highlight the Top 3 Players displaying their respective bronze, silver, and gold trophies, along with their player nicknames on both the Presentation View and Participant View.

Final Rankings Leaderboard
This section specifies which specific Rankings Leaderboard you would like to display at the end of the Bingo Game such as Individual Players, Multi-Game Individual Players, Advanced Teams, and Multi-Game Advanced Teams Rankings. You can even choose to not display any Final Rankings Leaderboard at all!

Automatic Viewer Settings
These settings specify which views are automatically shown to your participants after the last square has been called or the set number of Bingos has been awarded.
Automatic Viewer Settings for a Fully Automatic Mode game
Why can't I adjust these settings? These settings are only accessible in the Fully Automatic Mode. They determine which views are automatically displayed after the Bingo Game has automatically finished. When using Host Controlled Mode, all view settings are triggered manually by the host.
Show Game Notes Automatically
Enabling this setting will automatically show the Game Notes after the last square has been called or the set number of Bingos has been awarded and the game automatically closes.
For Host Controlled, Show Game Notes (N) must be triggered manually using the Experience Dashboard button or the keyboard shortcut (N).
Show Rankings Leaderboard Automatically
Enabling this setting will automatically show the individual Rankings Leaderboard after the last square has been called or the set number of Bingos has been awarded and the game automatically closes.
For Host Controlled, Show Rankings Leaderboard (R) must be triggered manually using the Experience Dashboard button or the keyboard shortcut (R).
Show Multi-Game Rankings Automatically
Why can't I enable this viewer setting? You must have Multi-Game Rankings enabled under the Bingo Format section of the Bingo Game Settings tab to use this setting. While this setting is compatible with points earned from linked Bingo and Trivia Games, please note this setting is not compatible with CPQ Survivor Mode Trivia Games.
Enabling the Show Multi-Game Rankings Automatically setting will automatically show the Multi-Game Rankings Leaderboard after Bingo Game has automatically closed such as after the last square has been called or the set number of Bingos has been awarded.
For Host Controlled, Show Multi-Game Rankings (M) must be triggered manually using the Experience Dashboard button or the keyboard shortcut (M).
Check out the article Multi-Game Trivia Rankings & Trivia Rounds Explained for more information on Multi-Game Rankings.
Show Team Rankings Automatically
Why can't I enable this viewer setting? You must be using Advanced Team Mode to use this setting. While this setting is compatible with Team Bingo Games, this setting is not compatible with CPQ Survivor Mode Trivia Games.
Enabling this setting will automatically show the Team Rankings Leaderboard at the end of the Fully Automatic Bingo Game.
For Host Controlled, Show Team Rankings (T) must be triggered manually using the Experience Dashboard button or the keyboard shortcut (T).

Automatic Restart Settings
These settings control how your Bingo Game restarts when using Fully Automatic Mode.
Reset Bingo Game Automatically setting
Why can't I enable this viewer setting? The Reset Bingo Game Automatically setting only applies to Fully Automatic Mode Bingo Games.
Reset Bingo Game Automatically
For Fully Automatic Bingo Games only, enabling this setting automatically resets the Bingo Game once the set number of bingos are earned by players, or after every square has been called. This will cause the Bingo Game to start fresh with zero existing responses or rankings after each automatic restart.
This is useful when you'd like to run a Bingo Game repeatedly over the course of an event, but have it start fresh with no prior results at each restart.
What happens to my data? All crowd data will be deleted every time your Bingo Game restarts.
If you need to save your crowd data for later analysis, marketing, or archival purposes, you may want to reconsider enabling Reset Bingo Game Automatically.
