All Premium Plan users can have quite a few questions within their Experiences - up to 100 questions per Experience! Keeping track of all your questions can be tricky, so this article offers handy tips to help you work with many questions at once.
Dragging and Dropping Questions
You can quickly reorder questions by dragging and dropping them within the blue Questions tab. Click and hold the tab of the question you want to move.
The mouse pointer will change to the double-arrow move cursor (not shown)
Next, drag it to the desired position.
Dragging the third question to its new location
The location of the original question number indicates where the question will go
Release the mouse button and your question will be in its new position. All other questions will automatically reorganize around it.
Question 3 is now located in the Question 1 position
Why do my question tabs look different? If you have 5 or fewer questions in your Experience, the tabs will say Question 1, Question 2, etc. If you have 6 or more questions, the tabs will condense and say Q1, Q2, etc. Dragging and dropping will work the same regardless.
Questions are grouped in sets of 10! Dragging and dropping will only work within groups of 10 questions. So, you could drag Question 10 to the first position, but you will need to use the Question Order setting to move Question 11 to the first position.
Editing Question Order
Dragging and dropping only works within the current group of 10 questions. To move a question to any position in your Experience, you'll need to use the Question Order setting in the Question Edit Panel. Click the green Edit (pencil) button in the top right of the question's text box.
Question 11 is displayed on the second set of questions.
You can also click the text of the question itself, where it says "(click here to edit)"
This will open a panel with a few options for your question.
Manually editing the position from the Question Order box.
The Question Order option is on the far left. Click it to open the dropdown selection box, and choose its new position.
Choosing a new question position order
Click the green Save (checkmark) button on the right to move the question to its new position.
Question 11 has been changed to Question 1 of the Experience.
What if I don't see the question position I want? You may need to scroll up or down in the dropdown menu to see the position you want, especially if you have many questions in your Experience.
Importing Questions from a Spreadsheet
Premium Plan users also have the option to import up to 100 questions at a time with a CSV file spreadsheet using a program such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
For more information on how to use the Import Question Tool, please have a look at the following page - Importing Questions From A Spreadsheet
Bulk Question Delete
If you're working with a large number of questions, you'll most likely need to remove multiple questions at some point. Great news! You can delete multiple questions at one time.
Simply navigate to the navy blue Summary tab and select all of the questions you'd like to remove from your Experience. Next, click on the blue Bulk Actions button and select the Remove Questions option from the dropdown selection to remove the multiple questions, as displayed below. Please note, Trivia Games and Polls do require you to have at least one single question within the Experience.
Bulk Question Delete example
Removing a question is permanent! If you remove a question, all of its answers and response data (e.g. votes, answers, etc.) will be removed. If you've already conducted a Poll or Trivia Game, a question may have valuable answers attached to it so make sure you've exported those results to a spreadsheet and/or you know you no longer need them.
