With Points Wagering, your players can choose how many points they want to wager on the next question. Will they risk a little? Go ALL IN? Or nothing at all? The choice is up to them.

Points Wager questions make for a great finale or bonus question at the end of your trivia games. We think Points Wagering will add a fantastic new dynamic to your trivia games!

Points Wagering can be enabled on any trivia question. From the Experience Dashboard, simply click on the green pencil icon to open a question's Edit Question panel, then enable the Points Wager switch. Finally, click the green Save (checkmark) button to save the question.

This will cause the question to use Points Wagering and will no longer follow the normal points-scoring rules of your trivia game.

Upon enabling Points Wager on a question, you'll also have the option to add a Points Wager Hint that displays above the wagering form on players' Participant Views. You can add a hint to help your participants determine what to wager based on how confident they feel about the question's hint. As the host, you can be as vague or as specific as you'd like!

To edit a Points Wager Hint, click on the green Edit pencil and type in your desired hint. Next, click the green arrow button to save your changes.

If you no longer wish to display a Points Wager Hint, simply click the red Remove button to disable any hint from displaying during the Points Wagering question.

By default, players have 15 seconds to make their wager selection. To edit this duration and allow players more time to answer or decrease the amount of time, navigate to the green Settings tab on the Experience Dashboard then click on the Playback & Timing section.

Next, locate the Question Timer section at the bottom of the left column, as displayed below.

Using the dropdown boxes containing the available timing options, you can set a new duration for all of your Points Wager-enabled questions.

Once your trivia game is started and upon activating a Points Wager question for your participants, the points wagering form will appear on player Participant Views, which allows the player to input their desired number of points to wager on the next question. If you've added a Points Wager Hint, the hint will display above the points wagering form as they place their wager; however, players will not see the next question before placing a wager.

Players may select Zero, Half, or All points by clicking the shortcut buttons. Alternatively, they can set a specific amount of points based on their current available points.

Players will have as much time as you've selected under the Points Wager Time section to place their wager by clicking the Place Bet button. If no bet is made, the Participant View will use the amount in the points input field when the points wagering timer runs out. A player's entered points wager is indicated in the upper-left corner of the Participant View.

Both the Presentation View and Experience Dashboard update to reflect that a points wager is active. The question will not be visible on the Presentation View until the Points Wager Timer has ended.

Players then answer the trivia question as normal. The Question Timer will reflect the wager the player entered. If the question is answered correctly, players will earn the full amount of points wagered. If answered incorrectly, players will lose their full wager. Upon enabling Show Correct Answer (C) or Show Rankings Leaderboard (R), your players will learn if they answered correctly and either won or lost their wager!

Points Wager questions make for an excellent finale to a trivia game. They work best after players have had a chance to earn points. If a player has no points, they will not be allowed to place a wager.
