Polls and Trivia Games have different question formats that you can ask your audience.
You can update the Question Type by clicking on the green Edit (pencil) button to the right of the question's text. This sets the question to "edit mode" where you can select a new Question Type from the dropdown. Finally, click the green Save (checkmark) button to save the question (or press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard).
After saving, the new Question Type will be set. If you chose a Question Type that creates default answers for you (e.g. Multiple Choice, Yes or No, or Like or Dislike) the default answers will also be created for you.

The following explains each Question Type, an example question, and how it looks on the Participant View of your crowd's mobile devices:
Multiple Choice Answers
The Multiple Choice question type allows your crowd to choose from several answer choices that you write along with your question. This question type is supported by both Polls and Trivia Games. An example is:
"Which employee benefit is most important to you?"
A. Paid Time Off
B. More Insurance Options
C. Higher Pay Raises
D. Newer Offices & Equipment

Text Answer
The Text Answer question type requires your crowd to write their answer using their mobile device's keyboard. This question type is supported by both Polls and Trivia Games. An example is:
"Who do you nominate for Employee of the Year?"
Your crowd would then type in their answer. Answers could be quite varied because the crowd makes up their own. Additionally, answers that are the same are automatically grouped together when showing the Live Answer Results.

Numerical Answer
The Numerical Answer question type is similar to Text Answer questions but the difference is this question only accepts a number. And the keyboard shown to your crowd is a numerical keyboard versus a full-text keyboard. This question type is supported by both Polls and Trivia Games. An example is:
"How many years have you been an employee?"

Drag & Drop Order
The Drag & Drop Order question type requires your participants to drag the answer options into the correct order to answer the question correctly. When the Show Live Answer Results display is enabled, Crowdpurr will animate the answers into the top-voted order, while enabling Show Correct Answer will animate the answers into the correct order.

Yes or No (Polls Only)
This is a "shortcut" question type that quickly sets up a Yes or No multiple choice question by providing those two answer options. This question type is only supported by Polls. An example is:
"Are you satisfied with your company pay-raise for 2023?"
The crowd would then easily cast a Yes or No vote by clicking one of the special buttons specifically designed for this type of question on their mobile device. This is a great way to vote on topics for your organization or event.

Like or Dislike (Polls Only)
This is a shortcut question type that quickly sets up a Like or Dislike multiple choice question by providing two answer options. This question type is only supported by Polls. An example is:
"We are considering an employee stock option?"
The crowd would then vote if they either Like or Dislike the question by easily clicking one of the special answer buttons specifically designed for this question type on their mobile device. This is a great way to get overall feedback from your crowd on a variety of topics you present to them as questions.
