After a question is answered and its Question Timer has expired, you'll probably want to display the Live Answer Results, the Correct Answer, and current live Rankings Leaderboard of all players. Crowdpurr lets you display this information easily and in whichever order you'd like!
Crowdpurr Views Explained
Crowdpurr refers to the various participant response data available after a question is answered as
Views. For example, Show Live Answer Results (A), or Show Correct Answer (C). Each View is followed by a letter that represents the View's keyboard shortcut to enable that view. Views can be turned off and on by clicking the respective View button, toggling its keyboard shortcut, or updating the Active Question to reset all views. Each toggle is a switch that toggles the View off and on.
Usually, as a Trivia Game host, you will show these Views at the end of each question to update your crowd, for example, with the "Correct Answer" of the question they just answered or the current "Player Rankings" of the game.
Turning On Views
There are several ways to toggle the Views off and on in Crowdpurr depending on where you're working such as within the Experience Dashboard or the Presentation View.
All View buttons are synced and can be enabled or disabled from any of the following locations.
The Viewer Controls Buttons
On the Experience Dashboard, simply click on any of the buttons listed under the Viewer Controls heading. This will toggle that view on and off on the Presentation View and all Participant Views. The idea here is that you can enable various views from the Experience Dashboard without having to mouse into the Presentation View. To turn off a view, simply press the button again.
The Presentation View Configuration Menu
The same views are also toggleable from the Presentation View window. Simply open the View Settings of the Presentation View by clicking on the Settings button with a gear icon located in the lower-right-hand corner of the Presentation View. Here you'll find the same Viewer Controls are also available as switches.

Keyboard Shortcuts
The easiest and quickest way to enable Views is to simply use your computer's keyboard. Simply press the letter on the keyboard to enable a given View. The View's keyboard shortcut is listed next to the description of the view on both the Experience Dashboard and the Presentation View. (i.e. Show Live Answer Results (A))
The keyboard shortcut can be used on both the Experience Dashboard and the Presentation View and you'll notice it updates both the buttons and toggle switches. To turn off a view, simply press its associated keyboard shortcut again.
By default, the following views are available for a Trivia Game:
Show Live Answer Results (A)
This View updates the Presentation View and Participant Views with the question's live answer results from your crowd for the current Active Question! This View will update to show a bar chart that features the number of answers received for each question and the percentage of the crowd that voted on that answer. This view also updates all crowd Participant Views so the answer results can be seen on your crowd's mobile devices. This View is also live, so it updates in real-time as answers are received by Crowdpurr. The keyboard shortcut is A (to remember it, think of A as for Answers).
Go ahead and enable this view by clicking the Show Live Answer Results (A) button on the Experience Dashboard. This will display the answer that you previously sent in from the Participant View you have open.

Show Correct Answer (C)
This view updates the Presentation View and all Participant Views with the correct answer for the current Active Question. It will highlight the correct answer in green and update the wrong answers to red. This view also updates the Participant View so the correct answer can be seen on your crowd's mobile devices. Additionally, this View can be combined with Show Live Answer Results (A) view in order to layer the correct answer on top of the live answer results. The keyboard shortcut is C (to remember it, think of C as for Correct Answer).
Go ahead and enable this view by clicking the Show Correct Answer (C) button on the Experience Dashboard. This will display the answer Gone With The Wind in green and the other answers in red.

Show Question Notes (N)
This view updates the Presentation View and all Participant Views with any attached Question Note for the current Active Question. It will display any additional text, links, or images attached to the Question Note. However, you do not need to display a Question Note if you would not like to. You can even add private notes just for the host without ever showing a Question Note to the crowd.
If you would like to display a Question Note to your audience, go ahead and enable this view by clicking the Show Question Notes (N) button on the Experience Dashboard. The keyboard shortcut is N (to remember it, think of N as for Notes).

Show Rankings (R)
This is probably the most fun view of all for your crowd. It updates the Presentation View and all Participant Views with a sorted rankings list of all the players and their current scores highlighting the top three players at the top in gold, silver, and bronze! Additional players will scroll horizontally below the top three. This view is also live and will update in real-time. Feel free to show it as long as you want. This view will hide the question view until you either disable Show Rankings (R) or update the Active Question to the next question. The keyboard shortcut is R (to remember it, think of R as for Rankings).
Go ahead and enable this view by clicking the Show Rankings (R) button on the Experience Dashboard. This will display the live rankings, which will probably only contain you as the sole player unless you're also playing with friends and colleagues for your test run.
Cycle Rankings Leaderboard
Sometimes you may want to sort through the rankings pages at your own pace, instead of allowing the Rankings Leaderboard to automatically cycle through player names. You can now disable the Rankings Leaderboard from automatically cycling through players by disabling the Cycling Rankings Leaderboard setting found on the Presentation View's setting panel, as pictured below.
Cycle Rankings Leaderboard enabled on the Presentation View settings
By default, the Cycle Rankings Leaderboard setting is enabled. When this setting is enabled, the Rankings Leaderboard will automatically cycle through the remaining players while the Top 3 Players remain statically displayed at the top of the leaderboard.
When this setting is disabled, the Rankings Leaderboard will not automatically cycle through the remaining players. However, you can still manually cycle through the rankings by pressing the Spacebar on your keyboard in order to sort through each rankings page.
Hide Rankings Indicators
By default, showing the Rankings Leaderboard throughout a game will display a Rankings Indicator next to each player's name to display how many points they've earned or lost from the previous question. When displaying the Rankings Leaderboard, the Rankings Indicator will also display on both the Presentation View and Participant View.
If you prefer not to display the Rankings Indicators, you can disable this setting by first navigating to the green Settings tab on the Experience Dashboard. Next, click on the Interface header and enable the Hide Rankings Indicators option. This will hide the Rankings Indicators which will not be displayed on the Presentation View and Participant View.

Using the Crowdpurr Views in Sequence
You can now see how it makes sense to allow your crowd to answer the current question, then when the Question Timer is over, you can announce "Let's see how the crowd responded?" You can then enable Show Live Answer Results (A) and your crowd can see how everyone answered.
Then you can then announce "Let's now see the correct answer!" You can then enable Show Correct Answer (C) and your crowd can see the correct answer.
Lastly, you can announce "Let's take a look at the leaderboard now!" You can then enable Show Live Rankings (R).
After this, just update the Active Question to the next question and all views will be reset and your crowd will then play the next question. You then repeat this process until the end of the game.
Next Steps
Now that we've shown the crowd the Live Answer Results (A), the Correct Answer (C), any Question Notes (N), and the Live Rankings (R) for your first question, we'll update our Trivia Game to the next question for our crowd to play. Go to Updating the Trivia Game's Active Question.
