Every Crowdpurr experience has a QR Code, Experience Code, and a Crowd URL that you can share with participants to allow them to find and join your experiences. These features make it easier to share your Crowdpurr experiences with your participants.
Here are quick descriptions for each of the above sharing features, which have the same purpose to allow your participants to join your experience:
QR Code: A visual image that can be shared that allows participants to join your experience by scanning the QR Code with their devices (e.g., mobile phone).
Experience Code: The Experience Code is an alphanumeric code participants can enter after navigating to www.crowd.live in order to join your experience.
Crowd URL: The Crowd URL is the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) or "hyperlink" of your experience that participants can either click on or enter to join your experience. This takes the form of www.crowd.live/<experience_code>. The above QR code is encoded with this URL.
The QR Code, the Experience Code, and the Crowd URL are different ways of navigating to the same experience! The experience QR Code is actually encoded with the Crowd URL so scanning the QR Code is the same as clicking on the Crowd URL. This is also the same as navigating to www.crowd.live and entering the Experience Code.
The Crowd URL
For participants who do not know how to scan a QR Code, they may use the Experience Code or the Crowd URL. The experience uniform resource locator (URL) is a complete hyperlink to access your experience directly.
There is no need to navigate to www.crowd.live first, as the Crowd URL already includes it along with the Experience Code. The Crowd URL's format is www.crowd.live/<experience_code>. Simply clicking on this URL will open a browser that links directly to your experience.

Accessing the Crowd URL
The Crowd URL can be found in the following locations:
Experience Dashboard
After creating an experience, open the Experience Dashboard from the My Experiences list. At the top of the Experience Dashboard in the gray bar, the Crowd URL is displayed just above the label "Crowd URL".
Crowd URL section on the Experience Dashboard
Can I customize the Crowd URL? Yes, users on the Seminar Plan (and above) can customize the Experience Code. The Crowd URL contains the Experience Code, which in turn will customize the Crowd URL.
Is the Crowd URL displayed on the Presentation View? No, the Crowd URL is meant to be clicked on in a SMS text message or email. The Presentation View only displays the QR Code and the Experience Code. It's easier for participants to scan the QR code or navigate to www.crowd.live and enter the Experience Code.
Sharing the Crowd URL
An experience's Crowd URL can be shared for participants in multiple ways.
Emailing the Experience Code
If you have participant email addresses (e.g., a corporate event or participant database), the Crowd URL can be included in an email for participants to click on, either from their desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device. The Crowd URL contains the full URL to directly link to your experience.
Did you know Crowdpurr does email notifications? Users on the Classroom Plan or above can use Crowdpurr's VIP Guest List Notification feature to add participant emails and then notify them with the Crowd URL prior to the experience starting.
Texting the Experience Code
If you have participant phone numbers (e.g. a corporate environment or participant database) you can share the Crowd URL using an SMS text message. Participants simply click on the Crowd URL link in your text message to join the experience.
Did you know Crowdpurr does SMS text notifications? Users on the Classroom Plan or above can use Crowdpurr's VIP Guest List Notification feature to add participant phone numbers and then notify them with the Crowd URL prior to the experience starting.
