All Crowdpurr Premium Plans allow you to export and save every single player answer-response received from your participants. The information included with each recorded answer is whether it was correct or incorrect, how many points were earned, what time it was received, which question, and what answer was selected.

You can also export your Trivia Game's rankings, final results, and participant input lead capture data.

All exports are saved as a comma-separated values (.CSV) spreadsheet file for later analysis and archival.

Export Player Answers from Trivia Game

On the light blue Activity tab on the Experience Dashboard, click on the pink export button as displayed to the right to export a CSV file spreadsheet containing a question-by-question, answer-by-answer export of every single answer from your players.

If you need to audit a Trivia Game or want to review all the answers to a given question, you can review this export. It includes the following information:

  • The question answered

  • The selected answer and whether it was correct or incorrect

  • The points awarded

  • The timestamp of when the answer was sent

This tab lets you view and export your Trivia Game's participant activity for your records.

Upon exporting, a CSV file spreadsheet will be created that you can open in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets called CrowdActivityExport_timestamp.csv.

Export Trivia Game Rankings & Results

On the yellow Rankings tab on the Experience Dashboard, click on the pink Export Player Rankings button to export all of the player rankings to a CSV file spreadsheet. This lets you archive how your players performed, ranked, and who the ultimate winners were for your Trivia Game. It also includes some additional data for each player, such as Total Questions Answered, Total Questions Correct, etc.

Upon exporting, a CSV file called PlayersRankingsExport_timestamp.csv will be created and downloaded. You can then open the spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Upon exporting, a CSV file will be created that you can open in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets called MultiGamePlayerRankingsExport_timestamp.csv.

Export Question Rankings

The Question Rankings tab can be used to export Per-Question Rankings. Simply click into the Question tab, and click the Export Question Rankings button. This will give you rankings data for each question. Average and total scores, number of correct answers, and more breakdowns are included.

Need to export rankings for multiple questions at a time? At this time, if you need to export rankings for multiple questions, you'll need to export each desired question individually.

For instance, you can update the Active Question. Updating the Active Question will update the Question Rankings shown and allow you to export the rankings for the new Active Question.

Export Crowd Lead Capture Data

Lastly, on the purple Leads tab and under the Participants heading, click on the pink export button to export every participant and any entered lead capture fields from the fields enabled on this tab as a CSV file spreadsheet.

If you've enabled any Custom Lead Capture Fields, (Seminar Plan and higher only) any custom lead data will also be exported. This is a great way to archive your participants and capture their lead capture fields such as email, phone number, name, age, etc. You can then use this data for further analysis, marketing, contact lists, adding contact data to databases, etc.

The Crowd Lead Data export exists because the previous Player Rankings and Crowd Activity exports will not include all lead capture fields.

Upon exporting, a CSV file will be created that you can open in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets called CrowdDataCaptureExport_timestamp.csv.

How do I track players between the various types of data exports in Crowdpurr? You may be wondering how to link players between exports. For example, if you're looking at the Player Rankings export and want to know the phone number of the player who won first place. Each export has a unique Player ID (or Team ID for team modes) associated with each player that you can use to look up players between export files.

Additionally, the Crowd Activity export will include the email and phone numbers of participants if you have those fields enabled. These are unique fields so you could also use these to look up players between export files. However, if you didn't collect an email or phone number (or didn't set them to be required), then you would simply use the Player ID field.

Export and Save Results Before You Reset Your Trivia Game

After exporting your Trivia Game data and saving the exported CSV files, feel free to reset your Trivia Games and clear out any participant responses. You may then re-run your Trivia Game for a new crowd as many times as you'd like using this method. You will still have your saved data exports to refer to for a historical record of your Trivia Games.

What happens if you never export your data? How long is data saved? As long as you don't manually remove your Experiences, Crowdpurr will retain all of your Experiences and crowd responses indefinitely. Some users prefer to leave the Crowd Responses within their Experiences and choose to never export their data. Your data is always saved even after downgrading. You can always clone any Experience up to your plan's Experience Limit. This will create a copy of the Experience that you can then reset and use versus reusing the original Experience. The choice is yours.
