Square Hints allow you to transform a classic bingo game into Quiz Bingo! Quiz Bingo is a fun trivia twist on the classic form of bingo that requires your players to analyze each square's hint to determine and find the called square on their bingo card.
For image-based squares where you may want players to find an image on their card, you can edit the Square Hint to display a brief text description of the image. For text-based squares such as a quote from a movie or famous song lyrics, you can use a Square Hint to give clues like which character says the specific quote or what artist sings the famous lyrical line.
Editing a Square Hint
For this example, we'll be adding a Square Hint to an image-based square for players to find and locate on their cards. To edit a square's hint, click on the green Edit Square button with a pencil icon to bring up the square's Edit Panel.
After clicking the Edit Square button, this will display the square's edit panel with two text box fields you can edit. By default, text fields will display the text, "Enter Square Value" if no text has been added and/or the square's value has not yet been modified.
The first box of the edit panel contains the Square's Text; however, any added text to this box will not be shown when the Display Square's Hint Only setting is enabled. In this case, you have the option to leave the box as is or add a private note for the host.
The second box contains the Square's Hint where you can add text as the hint. Click on the second box's text field and type in your desired hint.

Viewing the Square Hint on the Participant View
Similar to the Presentation View, the called square will only display its added hint on the Participant View. After analyzing the square hint, players must figure out and find the corresponding square on their bingo card. In the example below, players would mark the square with the image of the Disney princess, Elsa.
