Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), also known as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), allows you to add more security to your account by enabling a six-digit security code requirement when logging into your account powered by your favorite authenticator app.
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication
To turn on Two-Factor Authentication, simply navigate to the My Account page. Next, click on the Account tab and locate the Two Factor Authentication section. Finally, click the green Enable Two-Factor Authentication button.

Once you've clicked Enable Two-Factor Authentication, this will prompt you to either scan the QR code or copy and paste the key into your favorite authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator). This will create a revolving six-digit code that you’ll enter whenever you log into Crowdpurr.
The screenshot below illustrates the required six-digit code required upon logging into Crowdpurr:

While not required, we suggest enabling Two-Factor Authentication on your account to greatly improve security and prevent unwanted users from accessing your account with leaked/reused passwords. You’re free to remove Two-Factor Authentication at any time.
Disabling Two-Factor Authentication
If you'd like to disable the 2FA security feature, you can do so by locating the red Disable 2FA button as displayed below.
Upon clicking Disable 2FA, a final confirmation module will appear to confirm if you'd like to disable this feature.
Finally, click the red Remove button to confirm you'd like to remove Two-Factor Authentication. Upon clicking Remove, Two-Factor Authentication will no longer be required upon logging into Crowdpurr. However, you can always re-enable 2FA if you'd like by following the previous steps in the article.
