If you created a Poll or Trivia Game for your crowd, you'll likely want to add, edit, move, or remove questions to ask your audience. The following article explains how to do each of the actions above.
Editing a Question
This first question added by Crowdpurr is shown on the tab and is labeled "Question 1". You can edit your questions via the blue Questions tab located under the Playback Controls section of your Poll or Trivia Game's Experience Dashboard.
We're going to ask our crowd how they'll vote in the next election. Let's edit our question to ask, "What Political Party will you vote for in the next United States Presidential Election?"
Simply click on the green Edit button with a pencil icon to the right of the question's text. This opens the question's Edit Panel. You can now update the text of the question. After you're done, simply click the green Save button with a checkmark icon (or press Enter on your keyboard) to save the question.

Rewriting a Trivia Question
If you're on the Classroom Plan and higher, you can rewrite questions using AI. In the same Edit Panel, simply click the Rewrite with AI button.
Rewrite with AI button
Instead of adding a new question, this will replace the current question. This is useful if you added a blank question and want to customize it to your trivia game’s topic or if you want to rewrite an AI-generated question with a new AI-generated question.
Adding a New Question with AI
If you're a Classroom Plan user and higher, you can now easily add questions using AI directly from the Question Tools box, too! To add a question with AI, open up the Questions Tools box and click the purple Add with AI circle icon.
Add with AI button in the Question Tools box
This will open up a pop-up box that allows you to customize the topic, Question Type, and fun fact for the Question Note feature. The topic defaults to the title of your trivia game but can be updated each time a new question is generated.
Generate Question with AI module
Finally, click Generate to generate a question from AI. Our algorithm uses AI to ensure that newly generated questions are not similar to your game’s existing trivia questions.
Adding a Single Blank Question
On Crowdpurr, there are 2 ways you can choose to quickly add a blank question to your Poll or Trivia Game.
- Add Question via Question Tools
- Add Question via Questions Tab
You can add a blank question from the gray Question Tools tab on the far right of the question tabs. This will open a pop-up with a green + button labeled Add Blank Question. By default, the question type for the newly added question is Multiple Choice, and will be given four default answers to edit. You can now edit the question.
Alternatively, you can simply click on the + button located to the right of the last question within the set. This will instantly add a new question after the selected question.
Adding Multiple Questions From the Trivia Library
For Crowdpurr Trivia, you can also handpick individual questions from our 100% original updated weekly Trivia Library, which you can access via the same Question Tools box via the purple Open Trivia Library button. You can then pick and choose which questions you want from all of our available pre-written trivia games in a variety of fun and classic categories.

Re-Ordering Questions
If you want to change the order for questions that are on the same page of questions (i.e. Q1 - Q10, Q11 - Q20), simply drag and drop the question's tab to the new location where you want the question to be. Once you drop it, this will move all the questions ahead of it to make room.
If you need to move questions between pages of questions, you can also move a question by clicking the question's green Edit button with a pencil icon to open the question's Edit Panel.
To update the question's order, set the Question Order drop-down to the new order in the question's edit panel. Then, press the green Save button with a checkmark icon to save the question's changes.
Removing a Question
If you no longer want a question and/or accidentally created too many to begin with, removing questions is easy. Simply click on the green Edit button to the right of the question's text. This opens the question's Edit Panel. Now click on the red Remove button with a trashcan icon. This will remove the question and its answers. The blue X button simply cancels the edit and closes out of the Edit Panel for the question.
Bulk Question Delete
If you have multiple questions you'd like to delete, you can delete multiple questions at one time. Simply navigate to the navy blue Summary tab and select all of the questions you'd like to remove from your Experience. Next, click on the blue Bulk Actions button and select the Remove Questions option from the dropdown selection to remove the multiple questions, as displayed below. Please note, both Trivia Games and Polls do require you to have at least one single question within the Experience.
Print View
If you need a list of questions for your Experience such as for in-person events where you may want to have a list of questions handy, you can use the Print View button to easily download and print a printer-friendly version of the Questions Overview list on the Summary tab.
Upon clicking on the Print View button, a new tab will open up containing the same Questions Overview list in a printer-friendly format. You can then print this list by clicking on the Print button, which will prompt your browser's default printing functionality.
